What makes white chocolate cheesecake unique?
As we already suggested in the introduction, there are different, yet all delicious versions of a popular cake like cheesecake. Nothing should limit the person in the kitchen while preparing one in terms of the ingredients. However, let’s take a look why white chocolate should be prioritised for the cheesecake recipe:
-
Outstanding flavour: With the usual ingredient combination of butter cookies, mascarpone, cottage cheese and milk chocolate, the white chocolate addition promises extra sweet aroma as well as creamy and tasteful experience to satisfy anyone’s taste buds.
-
Energy boost: It probably goes without saying that white chocolate cheesecake would enhance an individual’s overall functioning during the day, due to the energy boost received from the cake. Obviously, it should be consumed in moderation because of white chocolate’s high level of sugar and fat content.
-
Appealing visual presentation: Cheesecake generally belongs to those specially layered desserts that can be very well designed. Mainly when it comes to the top of the cake. In case of white chocolate cheesecake, any kind of colourful fruit as well as melted dark chocolate would bring the ideal visual appeal to the dessert. Especially when brought to formal family gatherings and other special occasions.
-
Health benefits: Although it doesn’t look like it, even white chocolate carries with itself few benefits worth mentioning. For instance, it contains a small amount of antioxidants in the cocoa butter, helping out with oxidative stress as well as with reducing inflammation. The sugar in white chocolate can also contribute with a rapid dose of glucose, the brain’s primary energy source, improving its cognitive function and short-term focus. Not to mention other dairy ingredients in white chocolate that contain calcium, needed for the maintenance of human bones and teeth as well as better muscle function and nerve transmission.
What is also worth emphasising is the few-step preparation of white chocolate cheesecake. Look at it yourself and you will be surprised how quickly and easily you can achieve such creamy and flavourful outcome! All your guests and family members will certainly be impressed, so without any further words … let’s get cooking!
Ingredients needed for the recipe
Corpus:
- 150 g of butter cookies,
- 70 g of butter,
Cream:
- 250 g of mascarpone,
- 500 g of soft cottage cheese,
- 200 ml of whipping cream (33%),
- 5-6 tablespoons of powdered sugar,
- 1 package of vanilla sugar or ½ tsp of vanilla seeds,
- 100 g of white chocolate,
- 100 g of milk chocolate,
Ganache (topping):
- 100 g of white chocolate,
- 40 ml of whipping cream (33%)
Preparation of white chocolate cheesecake
1Let’s start by preparing the corpus. Line the cake form with baking paper (optional). Crush the biscuits almost to dust and mix with melted butter.
2Press the cookie mixture onto the bottom of the cake form. You can help the smaller ones get to the bottom by using a cup or a shot glass.
3Now, whip 200 ml of whipped cream in the first bowl. In the second bowl, whip mascarpone with the soft cottage cheese, powdered sugar and vanilla.
4
Add whipped cream from the first bowl to the cottage cheese cream and mix by hand or with a whisk. You should achieve the cream cheese form at the end.
5
After that, divide the cream into two halves. Mix the cooled melted white chocolate into the first one and in the second half, mix the melted milk and cooled milk chocolate.
6
Put the white cream on the body of the cheesecake that was previously prepared in the cake form.
7
The following second layer will be brown (the one containing the milk chocolate).
8
The last step is the preparation of the chocolate ganache. Break white chocolate into pieces (as small as possible). Heat up 40 ml of whipped cream (be careful not to let it boil). Pour the hot cream over the chocolate pieces and stir until dissolved. Pour it immediately on your cheesecake. After that, it is ready to be put in the fridge to harden.
Well done! Once cooled down, enjoy decorating and serving of your white chocolate cheesecake, exactly in a way you wish!

FAQ 1: Can I use different types of cookies for the cheesecake crust?
No issue at all! You can experiment with various types of cookies and create a unique crust. Especially for white chocolate cheesecake, any choice you pick might complement the flavours very well. However, to mention the ideal cookie kinds, Graham crackers, chocolate wafers or even Oreo cookies can be utilised as alternatives to butter cookies.
