FAQ: What goes the best with the banana bread?

Homemade banana bread pairs well with a variety of food items that are able to enhance its overall flavour and create just the right eating experience! Here are some suitable tips from us what to particularly serve with the banana bread (of course, the final choice is yours):

Butter: Spreading a thin layer of butter on a slice of the warm banana bread adds extra richness to the food and enhances its typical moist texture.

Cream cheese: Cream cheese spread offers the ideal contrast to the sweetness of the banana bread, creating the perfect balance of flavours at the end.

Nut butter: Whether it’s the peanut, almond or cashew butter, spreading any of them on the banana bread will bring more protein, creaminess and aroma that very well complement the bananas inside of the bread.

Honey or maple syrup: Drizzling a bit of honey or maple syrup over the banana bread provides a touch of sweetness and extra moisture, again strengthening its familiar flavour.

Fresh fruit: This is truly a safe option. Slices of fresh fruit like strawberries, raspberries or blueberries can be served alongside the bread to make a refreshing and colourful contrast.

Yogurt: Similarly to fresh fruit, you can easily use the Greek or flavoured yogurt alongside the banana bread for a creamier outcome.

Ice cream: Are you preparing the banana bread recipe during warmer months? Then nothing goes better with it than the ice cream. The flavour generally depends on your preferences, however the most common one is certainly vanilla.

Coffee or tea: Enjoying a slice of the banana bread with a cup of coffee or tea is a classic pairing that fulfils the comforting and cozy feeling everyone searches for in the morning.

Make this homemade treat 100% worth your time and enjoy its easy-to-follow preparation!
